Books can take us to faraway lands, they can teach us something new, and give us further insight into our own self-development.

 

There will be times in our life when we come across books that simply speak directly to us, and it is those books that are often hard to forget.

 

Reading a book can be an incredibly beneficial self care tool in that it gives us a break from the every day world and its stressors, and is a tool that can be implemented daily, weekly, monthly, etc.

How often, works for you.

 

Today, I encourage you to put on some comfy clothes, grab a mug of tea or a glass of wine, and find a snugly place to curl up with a book.

 

Whether it is an oldie-but-a-goodie or a new read, carve out some time today to read a book.
